Born in 1945 in the Goldfields of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia he studied graphic art and painting at Perth School
of Art, James Street.
His unique style evolved very much in isolation traveling wide and far for his subjects then returning to his hills studio to build on images and complete. Realistic but at other times the abstract beauty of creation captured with
equal force and command.
In his lifelong career, he has worked on major commissions in watercolour, oil, and sculpture, today building on a collection of the watercolour of the local area he has chosen to move to Bow Bridge in South of Western Australia
where the giant forest trees meet the ocean.
