Award winning artist Paula Wiegmink was born in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe. She immigrated to Perth, Western Australia in 1994 with her family then relocated to Dunsborough, WA in 2014.In 2015, Paula was invited to appear on the television art program ‘Colour
in Your Life’ featuring her recreating her painting ‘Tears of the rhino’which is currently being used for a global poster awareness campaign for endangered species. The poster has being signed by the likes of Sir David Attenborough and Dr
Jane Goodall. Paula works in a variety of mediums and has a passion for wildlife, still life, portraiture, landscape, photography and writing. Hoping to create awareness by drawing attention to the vulnerability of endangered species and the natural world,
Paula is happiest when surrounded by nature.
Her work is represented in private and corporate collections in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, Portugal, America, Canada, England, France, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Japan, Holland, Germany and Australia.
